1.1 Kettimelaam Weddings is an online wedding-services marketplace connecting customers with independent verified vendors across 5 major cities of Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem), expanding in phases. We act as a facilitator and technology platform only — all services are provided by independent vendors.
1.2 By using our platform you confirm you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
2.1 We are a facilitator that introduces you to independent vendors. We do NOT provide the wedding services ourselves and are not the agent, employer, partner, guarantor or insurer of any vendor. 2.2 Any booking or contract for services is formed directly between you and the vendor; we are not a party to it. 2.3 Vendor listings, ratings and descriptions are provided by vendors or third parties and we do not warrant their accuracy, quality or suitability.
3.1 To submit a booking request you pay Kettimelaam a non-refundable Booking Fee (plus applicable taxes). This is a platform facilitation fee for connecting you with vendors. 3.2 The Booking Fee is separate from, and does not include, the vendor’s service charges. You pay the vendor directly for their services, on terms agreed between you and the vendor. 3.3 We do not collect, hold or guarantee the vendor’s service payments and are not responsible for any payment you make to a vendor.
4.1 After you submit a request and pay the Booking Fee, selected vendors have 18 hours to accept. 4.2 Once a vendor confirms, we share contact details so you and the vendor can coordinate directly and arrange payment. 4.3 If a vendor declines or does not respond within 18 hours, we will offer you an alternative vendor where possible.
5.1 If no vendor accepts your request, or all selected vendors decline or expire, the Booking Fee is refunded. 5.2 Once a vendor has accepted and contact details have been released, the Booking Fee is non-refundable, as the facilitation service has been delivered. 5.3 Any refund or dispute about a vendor’s own service charges is solely between you and the vendor.
⚠ All Booking Fee refund requests must be submitted in writing to grievance@kettimelaamgroups.com.
6.1 The vendor alone is responsible for the services, including their quality, safety, timeliness and delivery. 6.2 You are responsible for verifying the vendor’s suitability, agreeing terms and price directly with the vendor, and dealing directly with the vendor on any service issue. 6.3 Any agreement, advance or payment you make to a vendor is at your discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kettimelaam is not responsible or liable for, and you agree not to hold Kettimelaam liable for, any of the following arising from a vendor or the services: (a) any accident, injury, illness, food poisoning or death; (b) any fire, safety incident, or property damage, loss or theft; (c) any negligence, misconduct, fraud, harassment or criminal act by a vendor or its staff; (d) any non-performance, delay, no-show, cancellation or substandard service; (e) any dispute, payment issue or disagreement between you and a vendor. Your remedy for any service issue lies against the vendor, not Kettimelaam.
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kettimelaam is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of enjoyment, profit or opportunity. 8.2 Where Kettimelaam is found liable despite these Terms, its total aggregate liability shall not exceed the Booking Fee paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.
Neither Kettimelaam nor any vendor shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, government orders, riots, epidemics, pandemics, strikes, power failures or acts of God.
10.1 Kettimelaam complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). 10.2 Your personal data is collected solely to facilitate wedding-service bookings. 10.3 We do not sell or rent your personal data; it is shared only with your confirmed vendor to fulfil your booking. 10.4 You may access, correct or erase your personal data by writing to grievance@kettimelaamgroups.com. 10.5 Transaction records may be retained as required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights, all disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

This Privacy Policy explains how Kettimelaam Weddings Hub (OPC) Private Limited (“Kettimelaam”, “we”) collects and uses your personal data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Registration details (name, email, phone), booking information, payment transaction references, usage data and communication records.
To process bookings and platform fees, connect you with vendors, send confirmations and reminders, provide support, improve our platform, and comply with legal obligations.
Online payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. Card and bank details are entered in the gateway’s secure environment and are not stored by Kettimelaam — we receive only a transaction reference and payment status.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. When your booking is confirmed by a vendor, your contact details are shared with that vendor so they can deliver the service. We share data with service providers (payment gateway, email/communication providers) only to operate the platform, and with authorities where required by law.
Data is stored on Google Firebase with SSL/HTTPS encryption. Access is restricted to authorised Kettimelaam staff.
Account data is retained while your account is active and thereafter as required by law. Transaction records are retained for the period required under applicable tax and company law.
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent, by emailing grievance@kettimelaamgroups.com.

Kettimelaam charges customers a single platform booking fee to submit a booking request and connect with vendors. This is the only amount you pay to Kettimelaam. You pay the vendor directly for their service, on terms agreed between you and the vendor.

Low-value tier applies only when the cart contains a single dress or invitation priced at ₹3,000 or less. Above that, standard Tier 2 applies. In mixed carts, the highest applicable tier fee applies.
For a cart, the booking fee is the highest applicable tier fee; for 3 or more services a minimum of ₹999 applies. GST at 18% is added. The exact amount is always shown before you pay.
Vendors pay a separate platform fee (by tier) plus 18% GST to accept a booking and receive customer contact. This does not affect the customer booking fee, and Kettimelaam charges no commission on the vendor’s service price.
Payments are made online through our secure payment gateway (UPI, cards, net banking). Card and bank details are handled by the gateway and are not stored by Kettimelaam.
4.1 If no vendor accepts your request, or all selected vendors decline or the request expires (18 hours), the booking fee is refunded to your original payment method.
4.2 Once a vendor accepts and contact details are released to you, the booking fee is non-refundable, as the facilitation service has been delivered.
4.3 Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
Payment for the wedding service is made directly to the vendor on terms you agree with them. Any refund, rescheduling or dispute about the service or its payment is between you and the vendor. Kettimelaam is a facilitator and is not a party to that payment.
Email grievance@kettimelaamgroups.com with your invoice number. We will verify eligibility under clause 4 and process any approved refund to your original payment method.
